I'm surprised you apparently didn't know about the tax cuts, in fact the largest two-year cut ever. This is a matter of public record. Remember all those "stimulus" checks that were sent out last year? Chew on that for awhile.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2059662573798496304.post-21852548366925297982010-10-29T17:51:56.138-04:002010-10-29T17:51:56.138-04:00I missed nothing but Krugman's subversion of t...I missed nothing but Krugman's subversion of the truth. What hurts is having an alleged expert try to sneak one by us under the guise of his expertise.

In the first two paragraphs, Krugman draws the readers' attention to the notion that Obama has presided over a huge expansion of government, and then promptly refers to that notion as a myth.

From bank seizures, to Government Motors to health care, people don't buy the snake oil being peddled by Krugman. Combined with the Congressional Budget Office figures regarding the national debt's rapid increase in less than two years, Krugman's assessment is offensive to people with common sense.

As for your comment about the stimulus "consisting of tax cuts, you will really need to provide some proof of that. For now, I'll leave that one for the other readers to chew on...
-WoodyAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07500869667055058676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2059662573798496304.post-42222703129063678972010-10-28T15:35:39.159-04:002010-10-28T15:35:39.159-04:00You missed Krugman's point. He also points out that much of the stimulus bill consisted of tax cuts, which conservatives never acknowledge. I know it hurts, but Krugman is essentially correct in his analysis.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
