The Most Unpresidential President

Wasn't it all supposed to be about a "new tone"? Didn't Obama take a vow to be the president for all the people? He said in the campaign that he was going to bring us all together.

Sorry folks, this is rhetoric more fitting of the chairman of the DNC, not the President of the United States.

Well...it's obvious the guy can't govern so he might as well revert to the campaign mode. It's the only thing he did well. Two years in the White House has changed all that. Most of America now views it as just more useless Obama banter!

So true, EJ. I still just can't get over the blatant disregard for recognizing these things for what they are by the media.

Even worse, perhaps, is the Republicans' reticence to seize upon the bountiful opportunities presented to them in the battle for Congress. Where are the political ads?

It's almost as if Obama is right, in a sense. The Republicans seem to be of the mindset that their victory is a given, and therefore no effort is required on their part.

Of course I am sure you have no issue with the previous occupant of the office, the man who referred to the Constitution as "just a goddamned piece of paper". Very presidential...

Mr. Kranky, I cannot take issue with words that were never spoken by the person to whom they are falsely attributed.
